Job Description:
Growing wholesale distributor to the HVAC/R and property maintenance industries located in Pleasantville, NJ. We seek an experienced, energetic, hands-on and motivated Controller. Reporting directly to the Owner/CEO, the controller will handle all of the accounting and finance functions. This individual should possess the ability to work independently, grow at a rapid pace and have a genuine impact on the overall success of the company. Specific Responsibilities will include:
Accounting and Administration - Day to Day financial matters Perform all daily and monthly duties relating to General Ledger and month-end closing Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Bank Reconciliations Assist in managing business insurance Assist in monitoring inventory levels and controls Generate accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports and analyses for management Work with President on special projects on an as-needed basis
Qualifications:
BA in Accounting or Finance 5
of years of Private accounting experience Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills General Ledger experience is preferred Demonstrated the ability to set goals and work toward them independently Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required Salary will be dependent upon one's level of experience. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
