As a Eligibility and Resource Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and assessing the eligibility of students for various social impact programs, as well as identifying and securing resources to meet their needs.
This role involves working closely with students, educational institutions, and community organizations to ensure that students have access to essential resources that enable them to engage in impactful social initiatives.
Responsibilities:
a) Eligibility Assessment:
Evaluate and determine the eligibility of students for social impact programs, scholarships, or resources based on predefined criteria.
This involves reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and verifying qualifications.
b) Support:
Provide guidance and support to students throughout the application process, helping them understand eligibility requirements and assisting them in gathering necessary documentation.
c) Resource Identification:
Collaborate with educational institutions, local organizations, and government agencies to identify resources such as grants, scholarships, and other funding opportunities available for students engaged in social impact initiatives.
d) Resource Acquisition:
Facilitate the acquisition of necessary resources by assisting students in application processes, drafting proposals, and communicating with relevant stakeholders to secure funding or material resources.
e) Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of student applications, eligibility assessments, and resource allocation.
Generate reports to track the success and impact of the resource allocation on student initiatives.
f) Collaboration and Networking:
Build and maintain relationships with community partners, potential donors, and educational institutions to enhance available resources for students interested in social impact programs.
g) Advisory Role:
Offer guidance to students on available resources, application procedures, and eligibility criteria, providing mentorship and advice on navigating the landscape of social impact initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, education, or a related area.
A master's degree is a plus.
Experience in evaluating eligibility criteria, preferably in an educational or social impact setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate and build relationships with other organizations.
Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
Passion for social impact and a commitment to helping students access resources to drive positive change.
