Spanish Services Facilitator - Fatherhood Services/Batterers' Intervention Program (Part-Time) Purpose:
To provide co-facilitation of the Spanish batterers' intervention/fatherhood groups and coordinated, comprehensive, holistic case management services Duties:
1.
Responsible for intakes and assessments for group participants 2.
Responsible for co-facilitating groups 3.
Responsible for providing direct client service 4.
Responsible for collaborating with DCP&P, court systems, and other referral sources 5.
Responsible for client advocacy, linkages, and referral services as appropriate 6.
Responsible for collection and maintenance of client records and service data/statistics 7.
Monitoring and tracking service utilization 8.
Evaluation of services and outcome measures 9.
Responsible for program flow and contributing to a supportive team environment by sharing experience and knowledge with program colleagues, new staff, and volunteers/interns 10.
Responsible for other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Program Director Accountability:
The Services Facilitator is responsible to the Community Services Team Leader/Program Director and the client population for the timely, professional, and effective performance of all job duties.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum of two years of experience working with the identified client population or one that is transferable 2.
Experience in working with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds 3.
Demonstrated sensitivity to issues of social justice 4.
Demonstrated sensitivity to working with perpetrators of domestic violence and to working with men in parenting roles 5.
Demonstrated ability to work in diverse teams 6.
Ability to expand communication style to multiple cultural environments 7.
Ability to speak and write fluently in Spanish required 8.
Ability to network with other professionals within and outside the Agency on behalf of the client population 9.
Willingness to utilize, share, and/or develop technology skills.
10.
At least three years of experience in domestic violence or related social justice field.
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
11.
Valid New Jersey driver's license and insurability through AVANZAR's insurance carrier Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
