What you will do:
As a Member Service Representative, you directly contribute to the success of our credit union by providing our members with high-quality customer service.
You conduct both basic and complex transactions, including deposits, transfers, withdrawals, payments, wire and Western Union paperwork, stop payments, payroll set up, and opening or closing accounts.
When engaging with members, you take care to understand their financial needs as well as make recommendations for appropriate products and services that help them make the most effective use of what we offer.
In addition, you use various sales techniques to meet established individual and group sales goals.
At times, you attend off-site events for business development opportunities to increase membership at our credit union.
You make outbound calls to members regarding outstanding loan approvals, various products or services, and to get feedback on their experience with our financial institution.
To stay up to date on any changes, you actively participate in self-development education programs as well as compliance courses through our training department and digital university.

Bilingual a plus Top notch communication and interpersonal skills 1
years of experience at a financial institution in a similar position Knowledge about general banking regulations as well as credit union policies and procedures Basic knowledge about sales techniques Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the internet High quality customer service skills High school diploma or equivalent Ability to travel to other branches and off-site company events when required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
