POSITION SUMMARY The After School Teacher is responsible for planning and executing lessons based on curriculum requirements and program learning objectives.
Through the development and execution of age-appropriate lesson plans, the After School Group Teacher delivers quality learning programs that supports program curriculum objectives.
Lessons are taught in a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes child learning, self-awareness and growing independence.
The Teacher insures each child progresses appropriately and plays an active role in enhancing each child's individual growth and development.
The Teacher provides for adequate materials for classroom instruction and prepares the support staff for assisting in learning activities.
The Teacher is responsible for providing a safe environment for learning.
This position assumes responsibility for the Center as needed, in the absence of the Director, Assistant Director of operations, or the Head Teacher.
Substitute teachers who assume this role execute the appropriate lesson plan and meet the established objectives for the delivery of quality programs in a supportive and nurturing environment.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
Qualifications Education:
Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Experience:
Minimum 1 year teaching experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required to play a leading role as a member of the teaching team.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
